Hi All,

My name is recommended by the AM for the promotion for the Team Lead. He has asked for my total experience and today I have received the feedback also provided by him to me that I have done a good job and all.

So, is there any possibility that I don't get the promotion even after the recommendation based on the project level or on the total headcount which can be promoted only, something like that?

People have 8+ promotion recommendations and still not promoted.
Your team will select someone who is the most valuable and critical to the team plus favouritism.

It’s always favouritism … I have seen people getting promotion within 2 years and some still at same level for last 4 years

There are may factors for getting Promotion.

  1. Your Performance
  2. Competency level should be > P3
  3. Your MAL
  4. Apart from deliverables what’s the extra thing which you are doing.
  5. Ethics and Compliance training’s should be completed on time.
  6. Budget and all
