My people lead says that my name has been sent for promotion.. What is the chance that I will get promoted.. What is the criteria?? and who selects the name for getting promotion? Just want to understand the process
Same happening with me from last 2years and iam the one of top performer in my team, yesterday when i asked my manager about my promotion and i got same reply like - you are the top candidate and recommended your profile for promotion. also he stated that this time it is very hard to get promotion since whole team is under poor performance. It is like a scam here they just loosing working hard ppl in coming days.
Seems all the managers gets the same script from HR or higher management.. My manager also told same thing!!
Look for alternate options , nothing is going to happen in June . Its like H1B lottery this time
Every leads send 2-3 members list every time so that doesn’t guarantee that you will be getting promoted out of 10. Such people only one gets promoted. So don’t keep hopes on the basis of what your lead says this time there is not going to be any promotion or hikes.
