Trending @Accenture; Promotion from level 11 to 10

I'm eligible for promotion from the last 4 years. Many times I tried to prove myself to get it but my manager always says next you will get it. What should I do now?? Should I wait or leave?

This is such a stupid question. If you have an offer, leave. If you want to take a plunge without the offer, leave. If you can’t do either and want to stay employed, stay.

Your manager will say this for next 10 yrs if he has to. Question is whether you are going to take initiative to get a counter offer. Without leverage no one will take you seriously, that is the golden rule.
