Trending @Accenture; Projects segregating to 4 locations
Hi guys, today one of our managers told in meeting that our project maybe segregating in 4 locations in upcoming days/months.
Bhai zaher peene ka paisa nahi, aur ye log segregate kar rahe ha. In a SONG group (web dev/creatives) meeting also some MD had mentioned that they plan to segregate all projects, 1 year ago.
Currently suppose:
Mumbai 100 members, leadership
Gurgaon 50 members, leadership
Bangalore 100 members
Hyderabad 80 members
Nagpur 20 members
Jaipur 50 members
Abc 10 members
Def 5 members
Then anyone operating out of 1st 4 headcount/selected cities for the project will have to relocate into one. Everyone transferred to Mumbai, Gurgaon, Hyd, Blore. Proj will work only from those 4 cities.
And how does that impact people in the team? Just trying to understand what's wrong in this, maybe I am missing something.
For example your project is operated in a Bangalore location. Now either project get expanded or your teammates can relocate any of four different locations near homes towns
what does this mean? can you elaborate a bit more on this ?
