Trending @Accenture; Project help......

Hii, I have been working in an ABAP project, and to be honest I am not good at it. And do not want to continue it,never wanted to, and they are coming more and more difficult tasks, and it is getting hard for me everyday . Pls help me what I can do here, I want roll off from project, but once my manager said can't give. So what I can do here? How can I explain it to them, that this tech stack is not aligning with me. Help me out here! thanks

If your primary skill is not the one you are working on now then you can discuss with your manager peacefully to get a release. There is no official way of getting release within 2 years or 6 month ( if you are p4 or p5 only) from a project.

I'm just at CL12, and my primary skills is ABAP only, but I was forced only, I tried catching it, but it's just not for me, and I don't want to waste anymore time on it. It's already been I guess 17 months in the project.

There is nothing like , ask him to roll off, its been already 12 months over, i recently motivated some juniors to come out from bad project, they hesitant to talk to mangers, finally they told i am good at puthon and wanted to join gen ai project, learning this n that, manger convinced give roll off, this is how you should approach

If you’re confident in your actual skill Two option:

  1. Talk to your manager in a good way that what you’re doing might end in chaos for both of you and why you do want to do that.
  2. Resign and look for job which satisfy your actual skill.

And if not so confident then? Bcz i want roll off so I can prepare in peace.
