Trending @Accenture; Primary skill change

How one gets their primary skill change within accenture? I m on bench , CL10, doesnt want to get locked for roles again based on my current primary skill but bench poc is strictly advising not to change it. Not sure what to do? I m on bench because I told my PL regarding the challenges that I faced working on primary skill listed. Primary skill was auto updated, guess based on interview. I am new joiner and worked here in a project for 3 months before being rolled off. Please guide. I am in NA bench.
