Can we ask for release from Project after putting resignation papers? I have already spent 1 month doing work and now 2 months are still pending.

Can anybody please guide to help me?

While you are on notice, as per policy the project will not be able to release you.

ask your manager for early release. they can make it happen.

From company? Or From Project?

You can check with your Manager, but it all depends on the project and the phase the project is in right now. If there is work in the project, then there is less chance of early release from the project.
And yeah, in your case early release would also mean early exit.
Company won't pay you salary while you count your notice days on bench.
