Three years of hard work, 12-hour days, and the only reward I get is denial after denial—no promotions, no increments, and now they expect me to spend almost half my salary living in a city I don’t even want to be in. All for what?
There’s no logical reason for me to uproot my life and leave my family when the work gets done just fine from home. If they want to fire me for that, let them. I’ve reached the point where peace of mind is worth more than being exploited.

Wouldn’t matter. The closest office location is 400 kms away. Plus that’s not the point. When I was hired I was assured wfh on an unconditional basis. Not going to give into unreasonable demands now.
