Trending @Accenture; pip regarding discussion?

One of my friend in accenture got a mail regarding improvement plan, from few months his manager is not happy with his performance, and given very bad reviewes to him in abcd reflection. and few days back, he got a mail regarding improvement plan evealuator.

is it pip? is they are adding him into pip?

what will be happen after that? will they remove it from that project or from company?

he is very much in stress, can anyone please guide here.
