Trending @Accenture; PI vs PIP and what are possibilities to get laid off
I recently got to know that I am on PI while communicating regarding variable pay with People Lead, what is different between PI and PIP, anyone went through this, what are possibilities to get laid off because of this, I was performing above average and completed what task had given to me , I am part of capabilities , capabilities team including PL given me negative feedback on workday, how to know who put me on PI/ PIP capabilities team or Project manager, I just joined new project one month back, I have been working in Accenture for more than 3 years. how to get out of PIP,what is duration of PIPand challenges, also I did not get any prior communication regarding PIP, should I start searching for new job or should I wait , please help TIA

I was put on PIP last year for a month due to an issue with my manager from the previous project. However, since I was on a new project already and had good rapport with my current manager. The PIP was mostly doing tasks that they gave and nobody gave me bad feedback. So, I got off it. However, I was told if I was not successful in the PIP, I would be asked to resign on the last day of the PIP month. 3 months of notice pay too would be given. Also, if you are successful to get out of it, you won't get pay hikes or bonus for a year. In my opinion, it's better to find another job regardless of the PIP outcome.

They did not give me any task or assignment, igot to know about this a week before, when My PL said I have updated your june report, I checked no update, then he said as you are on PIP so will not get any VP or hike , also he has given negative feedback on workday in December cycle after increment, currently I am on project and my current project manager is happy with my work , he said this june cycle evaluated based on December.
