Trending @Accenture; Office Attendance, Notice Period Reduction & Buyout Options at Accenture?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning ahead for when I eventually give my notice at Accenture and have a few policy questions:

  1. Office Attendance: During your notice period, was it mandatory to physically report to the office, or could you work fully remotely/submit deliverables online?

  2. Notice Period Reduction: Is it possible to have your notice period shortened? If so, what’s the official process or whom do you approach?

  3. Buyout Options: Does Accenture offer a notice-period buyout? If yes, how does that work (eligibility, calculation, approval process)?

Any official policy references, HR contacts, or personal experiences would be hugely helpful!

During your notice period at Accenture, was it mandatory to report to the office?

  1. I have attended office for 2 months and for last month I’m working from home. That too my lead told me I can work from home no need to go to office. Still your attendance will be monitored as for everyone if your lead or manager is good with it there should not be any problem if HR reaches out to you in this regard.

  2. Again it depends on your project deliverables and if your manager is good with that you can reduce it.

  3. I’m not sure about buyout but I heard that Accenture does not allow it. Just discuss with your manager and get the notice Period reduced this is what I can suggest.

Thank you so much for the help!

I had reached out to my Manager/People Lead, he said he cannot reduce notice period. Is there another way like reaching out to someone else?

What might be the consequences if we don't visit the office during the notice period?
