Hi Folks, My current project relieving date is on Feb Last week, I’m currently planning to make a switch to other company, as after Feb last week i would be in Bench. Can i negotiate my notice period and make it less than 90 days. If i can, is there is any minimum days i need to serve in Notice period?

This is what my manager told me after I asked him to adjust my notice period,
- He said there is no such buyout policy.
- Can't adjust earned leaves in place of notice days
On first point, I have no clue. But, I have asked HR on second point. Adjusting earned leaves with notice days can be done but all depends on the manager.
In most cases, people are serving 90 days notice.
I'm not aware of the edge cases.

But in my case i wouldn’t be working in project after feb, so even for a bench candidate we can’t make negotiation?
