Trending @Accenture; Not going to base location
I have joined Accenture last November. My base location is Bangalore. After 1 month I came back to my home town kolkata and going to kolkata office till now.
I have asked to change my location so many times to HR but they said it will not possible before completing 2 years. My current manager don’t have any problem if I work from kolkata, just she said if I get any complaints mail then I have to go to Pune office. Till now I have to received any complaint mail.
Now my query is:-
- Will I lost my ID card access for kolkata location in upcoming days?
- Is it possible to change my location to kolkata in any senario?
There is a process to do this without completing 2 years, your manager needs to open a rrd for your position and your location, then you can transfer there easily.
It's a tedious process which involves a lot of approvals but there is a way around.

You need to ask your manager and PMO to do an OIT, Organisation initiated transfer, also since there is reimbursement related to this, you need to discuss with your manager and PMO and ensure that you won't be asking for any reimbursement and write an email to them as proof.
Only then can you get a transfer without HR involvement before 2 years. That's how I got it. If you have any medical issues or your immediate dependent family member has any issue, that will help.
Take your Managers level 6 or 7 approval over email and email that to PMO
