Trending @Accenture; Need your insights.

I've been working for the last 2.10 years. Accenture is my first company. I am an application development analyst. In all these years I have not got an opportunity to learn development at all. I have only been put in maintenance projects. I have not created a single REST API.

I have no confidence now and I don't know how to move forward in my career. Anybody stuck in the same boat? What are the other career path I can choose? The only thing that comes to my mind is Data roles.

There is nothing wrong with maintenance/suppprt project unless you dont want to work in support at all. For me personally it was the best decision of my life. Started with a dev project but the second one was support. 3 promotions in 5 years. Started as level 11 currently at level 8.
Another perspective to look at this is in support your peer competition would be a bit easy as well. If you are in support but can code then nothing like it

Talk to your team lead or manager about your insecurities. Discuss and tell them what you want and what your career goals are. You can request for a project change as well.
