Trending @Accenture; Need Suggestions: Transitioning to a Technical Role

I’m seeking advice on my current career situation. For the past couple of years, I was working in a project on a non-technical role, which I realized was not aligned with my career interests. I requested a release from that project and currently find myself on the bench.

Since then, I’ve been actively trying to transition to a technical role. I’ve taken internal training sessions to upskill myself like automation testing/Java and selenium, but I’m finding it challenging to secure a technical project because I don’t have much prior hands-on experience in technical domains.

I’m looking for suggestions on how to:

1. Land a project that would allow me to cross-train on technical skills.

2. Build credibility in technical areas even with limited experience.

3. Improve my chances of being selected for technical roles.
