Trending @Accenture; Need suggestions for old asset surrender?
I got rolled off last week and the next day I received a mail from Accenture.support stating a subject like this -
"New Joiner Technology Enablement [RITM number] has been opened and more information is required."
"This is to notify that an asset surrender request has been created for returning the old asset at the issued location, but more information is required to process the request. Please note that you, should be the one to update the request, hence it is important to ensure the required details are provided within 1 business day to process this request." But My main concern is why I should surrender the old asset after being rolled off from the project. According to the subject, it seems to be addressing a new joiner, and I am not a new joiner.I have 2 yrs of exp, I need suggestions from you guys on whether I should ignore this email or take action. What should be the next step I should follow?
and I am currently on ITP.
any updates about why this request was placed? I received this mail as well, don't know what to do with this.
@BraveWillow While rolling off from previous project you need to submit your asset and get a new asset in the new project. This can be a scenario, so check if they raised a ticket in new project
Currently, I am on the bench and have not been assigned to any project yet. And the mail came from Accenture.support. My previous project location was PDC3B, but it has now changed to PDC2C, which seems to have triggered the asset surrender request. due to the asset location maybe.. still is there any way to check this ?
