Hi team, I am bit confused on putting paper without any offer in hand. I am at level 10 from last 3yrs and have a total of 6yrs exp with very low salary (<10lpa). I am currently in support role in this project (recently rolled to this project) and there is no learning scope here also the work pressure is huge. Please suggest me if I can resign in this month without any offer or shall I wait till the appraisal discussion or should I resign only after getting any offer considering the present market. Any suggestion will be helpful….

Foolish thing is like putting papers without offer in hand

I agree but all the calls I am getting from other organisations are not agreeing for 3months notice period and they want someone who can join immediately or in 30days.

You need to convince the recruiter that I am critical resource in present organization. But I will try to get the buy out like that.

Putting notice without offer is not entirely foolish as most companies ask for employees with less than 2 months of notice period. I would suggest that you put notice but also work hard on creating a good resume and applying for jobs everywhere. Take all opportunities and get a new job. It's not worth working in a company if you are getting paid less than even the freshers that are joining.

Its better to resign after getting an offer. But if you have a good domain and are confident in your skills, then take the leap
