Hi all, I need guidance on my current situation. In the coming 2 months, I will be completing 2 years as an ASE. In my current project (last 6 months), I was not given a charge code and was asked to use the “unassigned charge code,” which affected my May cycle bonus. Now they have assigned me a non-billable charge code, and I was informed this will also impact my future bonuses.
My team works in the B shift, but I was asked to work in the general shift. Because of this, I cannot claim the shift allowance, but I still need to extend my working hours by 1–2 hours whenever a client-side user pings me.
I am unsure if I will get a promotion after completing 2 years as an ASE. Meanwhile, I am being assigned a lot of work, yet my bonus, promotion prospects, and shift allowance are being affected, and my working hours are extended.
I am confused about what to do—if I ask for a release, I am worried I may not get another project.
