Trending @Accenture; Need guidance on how to ask for project release
Hi everyone, I’m currently feeling a bit overwhelmed and uncomfortable in my current project. I want to ask for a release, but I’m not sure how to approach my manager professionally and respectfully. Has anyone here been in a similar situation?
How should I communicate this to my manager—should I send a message, request a 1:1 meeting, or go through any formal channel? What reasons are appropriate to mention?

These type of conversations can be tough with your manager so its great to always approach them professionally and respectfully even if you have some friction with your manager, if they are chill then you can be a bit casual but always ask them nicely and explain them the situation properly. This way you will dodge any unnecessary bad review/feedback or sometimes PIP. Saying this from experience because I took voluntary roll off in may and my manager was understanding enough to release me. Cheers!
