Trending @Accenture; Need Career Guidance

Hi folks, Need some help/suggestions. I joined Accenture ~9 months back, did Techgenics training in SIEM and am currently working in a SOC role. Learning wise it’s fine – I get to work on different tools and do investigations, which is good. But honestly the rotational shifts are killing me. On top of that, for a sick leave I need to arrange backup myself, which is impossible at the last moment… feels like torture sometimes. Add the constant micromanagement + pressure, and I’m drained by the end of every shift.

I’m a CS grad and honestly had development in mind when I joined, but Accenture randomly assigns streams and I landed in security. The thing is, I actually enjoy SQL, Power BI, React, JS and stuff like that. But now I’m confused , with AI changing the whole dev field, does it even make sense to try moving there, or should I just stick to security (since it has demand too)?

Can someone who’s been in a similar situation or experience in this IT field can guide me🥲
