My family member died last week from my father’s side. On Saturday we have some rituals where I need to be there.
On Saturday, application I worked on is going live. This whole application is dependent on me. Other members are on leave.
My lead is going on 2 weeks of leave. So he is kind of threatening me to send mail or take risk and be ready for consequences if anything goes wrong.
I don’t know what to do in this situation. What will happen if I will not work on Saturday.
This lead made me work on my vacation during Ganesh Chaturthi. I’m done with this company.
Call and update ASOC
Your lead should have had a business continuity plan, which ge failed. But everyone blames you nd ur lead might put you in PIP stating that "not available, not engaging with team etc".
So try to postpone the deployment either to sunday or at a time in Saturday depending on ur availability.
Bro, family comes first. Skip work on Saturday. Your lead is being unreasonable. 💯
