Trending @Accenture; My life is going to be ruined

I’m at L12, trained for technical roles, but I got placed into an AMS project with rotational shifts where I mostly prepare SUD docs and monitor applications used by the client. There’s no learning or challenge here. Every day I feel more demotivated, and now they say can’t roll off until I finish 18 months. I genuinely want to learn in-demand technical skills and build a strong future, but I’m scared that if I try switching companies without experience in those skills, I won’t be considered. I feel stuck, confused, and frustrated.

Don't take this as bad.. you will definitely learn something from your current project.. you will get to know how real world project works.. how your leads are working how they are handling the situations.. after 1 year you try to switch and you will definitely get a good role. Everyday try to learn something of your domain.. this will extremely help you when you will switch. To be very honest there is no much expectations from a fresh you just need to know the basics of your domain and you will be hired by someone. Be positive and observe everything which is going in your project.

I have two cousins and a neighbour graduated this year.

They didn’t get a job and trying hard to get something offcampus but unsuccessful so far.

Be grateful that you have a job. If you are really this frustated you can sacrifice a few hours of your sleep and work on yourself after your shift.

Just because your role in your project is not giving you the right skills doesn't mean that you can't take up additional roles with the skills you want. And if those skills are not available in your project you can always reach out to other projects and shadow them. Do skill trainings and work on them. Starter knowledge of every skill is freely available out there.
