Trending @Accenture; Money leading to problems in convincing my future in laws
My current job is decent, I guess - I’m making around 8 LPA. My boyfriend, though, comes from a family of overachievers. His mom’s a doctor, and his dad runs a successful tech startup (probably pulling in 2Cr+ a year).
To top it off, he’s already a project manager at 25, earning 22 LPA. He’s super supportive and believes I’ll figure things out, but I’ve met his parents, and I can tell they’re not impressed. They keep dropping hints about ‘stability’ and ‘ambition.’ Last weekend, his dad casually mentioned some family friend’s daughter who’s a freaking architect with her own firm.
I feel so lost. I don’t even know if I’ll ever catch up to him, let alone live up to what his parents clearly want. It’s exhausting 😔

If she loves you, she will marry you and if she doesn’t, she won’t

Damn, that is a tough space tobe in

Oh I have been in the same situation, even worse just remove the 10 LPA from your salary. If your girl is not demanding, and ready to take a stand at your current package in front for her parents, then only you go for it.
If she is pushing you to earn extra and is not satisfied with what you earn right now, I doubt it will work.
Anyways, it worked for me. There are benefits also of having rich in laws. :)

Acquire the relevant skills related to your domain or any other which is going to transform in the future like currently AI, you'll be well paid when you switch

Don’t marry her

If you think she will leave you for a better guy with more financial stability, she would have done that already. The fact she hasn’t done that means she’s going to be there with you for life. Cheer up mate and don’t worry. You’ll get an even better package in no time

The world is too big for these issues. Forget and move on. Focus on sharpening skills, not sure what your ML is, assuming 11, then 14CTC aligns with the market for even ML 10.

Goodluck

14 LPA ka package hone ke baad bhi aisa situation aa raha ab kya bolu mai 🥲🥲🥲
