My manager is forcing us to work on weekends, should i say no or should i wait for this appraisal cycle before speaking against this weekend work thing?
Register urself on india.mentalwellness portal. Tell them the reason of what affecting your mental health.
That thought does came into my mind, I'm already part of the community (mental health ally) but it's just the fear that if I say something and it backfires I'll be in a lot of trouble
But I'll again think about it, maybe Accenture's mental well being community is more understanding than the tyrant managers we have
Dekho bhai logic simple hai ki yahan gau (cow) koi nahi hai. Sab ek dusre ka kaat rahe hain aagey bhadne ke liye. Mental wellness waalo ko bhi aagey bhadna hai. Give them a right opportunity.
Are they providing money for working on weekends? If they do it's fine if they are not then that's and issue
Accenture does not provide any kind of monetary compensation for working on weekends. As per Accenture policies you can take a compensatory off in the next week if you work on weekends but in my case my manager is not even giving compensatory off
I think it depends on client then.. because I and my friends have worked on Saturdays and sundays and they were monetarily benefited for it.
