Trending @Accenture; Manager forcing extra work despite my planned vacation — need advice
My manager keeps pushing me to take on more work even though I’ve already planned my vacation and clearly mentioned that my capacity is limited this sprint. He doesn’t seem to understand or respect that, and it often feels like he treats the team as if we’re his subordinates rather than professionals with our own boundaries. The work pressure has become overwhelming, and it’s starting to affect my motivation. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? How did you handle it?
Vacations are meant for no work day. If you are on vacation for short duration (2-3 days) Ignore text. Ignore call. Even if you receive call/text, just message you don’t have laptop or access to laptop or travelling/ driving.
When on long vacation and you are only sole resource for role. Try to find out some time for kt and work delegation
