I am new at Accenture its been a year or so , What is this MAL??
MAL stands for Months At Level, it denotes how many months you have been in the current Management Level.
I am at this position for like 16 17 months, when can i expect promotion
If you're in CL 12, promotion is automatic after two years, while for other levels, atleast 2 years is required for getting eligible but it hinges on performance and feedback from your people lead.
Be in good terms with your manager/ people lead you'll climb the ladder faster even if you don't have the criteria atleast that's what i heard
Months at Level - calculated based on the number of months you’re at the current level at Accenture. In some cases, HR considers MAL from your previous company as well.
A high MAL of 100 or more indicates that you haven’t been performing too well. A decent MAL of 36-48 and a track record of consistent DAs will put you in line for a promotion. In some cases, you will get promoted without a high MAL if you have a niche skill which is highly in demand by a client.
