Anyone changed location recently on ast tool? How much time does it take to get effective and do you get any communication. I made a request on 3 Feb which got approved by manager on 5 Feb but I am yet to recieve any communication. The status on ast portal shows 'in progress'. Can anyone help here?
I too applied for it. The manager and the HR PA are saying that they are not able to approve the request. There is some issue with the tool that is not allowing the concerned approver to approve the request which is causing this delay!
I had my location changed 2 days ago. If you have raised a request on AST as EIT. Follow up with the PMO and manager, the checklist must be completed, they cannot click on the approve button as there is some issue on the tool. Under your request, check for checklist status for your request
When I did my manager was able to approve and he did and now the status is showing as in progress, there's no other checklist I can find
The location request from the tool will work with effect from the next month It happened the same with me when I was raised a few months back
Did you talk to your manager before submitting this request? I am also planning to change my location but not sure of the process.
No need to talk to anyone. You can raise a request on AST which will get auto approval and get reflected in the system starting next month

Hey all, i have recently completed my techgenics training, I need to change my base location how can i do it ? Any help will be appreciated!
It takes 1 month to complete all the processes and formalities. Had raised one request 2 years back, it took exactly 30 days.
I also asked my manager to change my base location but manager told there is no department/vertical/Domain in that location..and said you can get changed location only where there is respective departments are present
