Is being a loaned resources good? I am into a dev project , my people lead is also from same project. Will being a loaned resource impact me negatively in future? How and what negative can happen?

Yes. It will impact your hike and promotion. Been a loaned resource for more than 5 years. Promotion got delayed because the people lead is from my current project and talent lead is from another DU.They both connect only during appraisals. Talent lead will not know anything about your work. If there is no other option have regular connects with talent lead and keep informing about your work and expectations.
