I got hired at CL9 with just 4 yrs and 8 months of total exp. Guess I'm lucky or better negotiater. Bottomline is - there is no such rule as fixed number of months to get promoted at X level, change the organisation if it is not giving the due reward that you're seeking. At least 40 months of service is needed for promotion to CL9. For a lateral hire, if you have 8+ years of experience you will be hired at CL9. So you can switch to other org for 15 months and then join Accenture again, rather than being in accenture for next 15 months and getting promoted and losing out your CTC.

No such rules for promotions. People with 1.5 years at level 10 got promoted to level 9 in Nov cycle.

I have now spent 28 months in L10 😑😔

It all depends on your project and your reporting lead if everything is fine then people do get promoted in 1 to 1.5 years to level 9
