Trending @Accenture; Let's analyze from Accenture perspective

I'm trying to understand what Accenture is heading towards

  1. No default hikes and minimal hikes on promotions- why should Accenture give that, they want cheap bulk resources. Also the more an employee is willing to settle for less, shows their individual incapable to find a job in the market.
  2. 2 days wfo, very soon: but why? To increase employees efficiency or force them to resign or what

Anything else you understand about the weirdness about Accenture, positives are also welcome.

Let me tell you harsh reality: 2021 was the time when Accenture cooked itself by giving double promotions. People who are not capable of leading a team has been promoted to managers/SM. Due to this they are not able to handle client resulting in dissatisfaction among clients and projects getting terminated before tenture. They are dependent on 1-2 resources below them and they need to give them maxm hike or promotion or VP. Result others hike gets hampered and then they will shift entire blame on management. Now since they are not capable enough to retain employees with hot skills as everyone is demotivated they are hiring worst employees with similar pay as no option left. Projects are getting delayed, clients are unhappy. How to fix this ? Level 6/7/8 reduce to only 2 levels and fire remaining. Its high time management should pay penalty as due to them accenture is suffering and we are getting no hike.

Tragedy is that they themselves are the decision makers

Do you think the people promoted earlier were capable of anything? All the leadership is also as useless as managers

Today we had a monthly connect with leadership.

Leadership is worried about negativity, but they are looking for solutions other than Onsite, Promotion, Hike, VP.

That's where HRs are suggesting if people come to the office regularly, they will make friends in the office and will not leave Accenture.

  1. The hiring team is dumb , focus only on quantity not on quality of the resources
  2. Letting go the skilled people and retaining the useless.
  3. Random layoff without analysing their track records
  4. Ignoring the feedback from client and continuous replacement of skilled with person who never fit into that role.
  5. Useless HR and talent leads who are taking decisions of hikes and promotions

There are endless points in this list , but as of now I can remember only a few 😄

It’s like SC judges hearing their own case and either dismissing PILs or giving clean chit to themselves.
