Ok I got worried that wtf did you do that you'd to mortgage your laptop against something, and that too office laptop, and even how, how much you got etc. 😂

And no nothing, mine was screen damaged, they'll remark it as physical damage if similar and noticeable is found on yours, quote your project wbse, project pays for that, been 2-3 years in my case, no qs were asked on this wbse use - so I don't believe they escalate or anything too and just let go such rare instances.

No body checks dents, even if it's there I don't think there will be penalty. Till now I have replaced two times my laptop, both time my kid dropped from table and screen cracked. I just told them that laptop is damaged and need replacement.
