If you are gonna do AI and stuff. I suggest getting a good NVIDIA GPU. so msi katana like laptop

But my ai and stuff are not heavy like , I can use Google Collab too for that. I want a reliable laptop with good battery backup and should come for 6 years on minimum. MSI katana or any laptop with nvidia gpu are not that reliable and has less battery backup.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

I have the same question for MacBook Air M2 and M4. Which would be a better choice? As my background is related to Data Engineer. So mostly i use a laptop for google chrome for learning Databricks, Azure,AWS and snowflakes which are cloud related technologies. The MacBook Air M2 cost 62k and the MacBook Air m4 cost is 84k. Which option should be better for me?

If you are earning good then go for m4, or take M2 for time being and wait for M6 chips. Probably they will be of 2nm so you can wait till they come.

What you will be doing in intensive coding? Even m1 can do intensive coding task. It's when you start running parallel apps, some high end video editing , picture editing at very high quality or running Android studio , is where difference can be there. But overall even m1 will be able to handle different type of development work. So m4 should surpass and will provide better performance, with smoothness at every aspect.

How would it be for Android studio and medium level ml related tasks?
