So better to avoid late night works from the begging itself, that's a good suggestion

Never entertain post office hours calls or late night support, not even once. I did that at the start, and didn’t realize it became a habit. Even after the projects changed, but every manager somehow expected me to be available for late night calls and support, without any extra compensation.

Trust me if you do once, they expect you every single time and will really be pissed off if you deny even once. Been there, disturbed my sleep cycle, my vitamins, minerals went to very low level, became obese, lost interest in outside world, got hospitalized and post recovering when i told my lead, that i will attend no more late night calls, and suddenly I am no more the best person in the team…. who was supposed to get a promotion this December 😅
