Trending @Accenture; Is WFO necessary in critical medical condition?
I have just joined Accenture and tagged to a project without any prior knowledge or discussion. I have to travel to particular location only for that project and it is not possible for me to travel as I am having some critical medical situation. I can get my doctor’s certificate. But manager is adamant about coming to office to magarpatta location only. Can they force me come to office? Or shall I look for another job as I have another offer from nearby company. Please help. I am in difficult situation. Thank you

Directly cast a mail saying that im in no condition to go to office and I cannot work with such pressure, this will affect the deliverables if I am not working on my right mind, if you keep pushing, I shall have to ask release from this project and look for another resource which will suit the location issue better...I have dependency so I cannot be away from home. And escalate it to the leadership. If you are a critical resources to that project and working from long time (6-7mnths) they dont have balls to rehire.. because they know if they loose you their expected timelines will be messed up. And you will be working freely. Dont hesite bro. They are colleagues not your principal. You can counter argue

Will suggest talking to your tagged leadership. I am sure they will understand your situation. I have never noticed such a situation so far. Leadership is good. Just talk to them. Are you in consultation or ATCI?

You can schedule a meeting with your reporting manager and HR. State your situation in the mail and discuss on call. Most probably you’ll get the permission to WFH if there is pressure from client.
You need to go to your base location. No exception to that. Any other location is negotiable.
Reach out to senior manager in that case, the manager of your manager if he also doesn't help go to his senior manager, in such conditions you must get all the facilities
