Yes, one of my friend got a call today and HR asked him to resign by 5pm.

yes this news is true and confirmed. one of my friends received it. people on bench try to send bulk mails and try to get into project asap(even support is fine). get hard locked by this week

Yes, 2 level 9 from my known circle are asked to resign yesterday- both were over 20 weeks in bench.. HR asked to resign immediately (comes with 3 months salary- no notice period) or they will terminate if you say you need time to resign (comes with no salary of 3 months- no notice period)..

Yes...anytime one can get a call n fired immediately. One of my contact was given ultimatum to submit laptop by 12 pm today else some monetary penalty will be imposed that will be deducted from severance pay amount.
