Trending @Accenture; Is moving from AIOC to ATCI easy?

I joined AIOC, Bangalore in 2022 July at CL 12.2 as Network Operations Associate. (I'm academically a B.Tech holder-Civil & used to work in civil industry for over 6 years in quantity surveying and project management, prior to this, but switched industry and moved here for better package and work culture, though I had to compromise my CL due to no relevant IT experience in prior) Soon after joining I figured out that I was drawing the least salary in the range among the same new Joiner batch in my same CL- probably because they might have all moved in here with better packages in their previous jobs.) Last June I got promoted to CL 12.1 and was told that I'm eligible to apply for a promotion to 11.3. However my process is getting shutdown and I'm moving to redeployment phase very soon. My current role was a technical role, in US shift, all the new roles that they offered were still night shift or non technical. So i refused it. I'm desperately trying to get out of the BPO verticle and trying to move to Technologies now with little bit of upskilling myself in CSM certification and BA, though I'm not fully sure whether that would serve the purpose. I've two queries here if someone could kindly help with:

  1. Do you think it would be a smooth or not-so-difficult process, getting into some good role in ATCI from my current role in Operations with the overall experience and certifications that I have, within very less time span of my redeployment phase? (I considered moving towards project management roles, to make use of my PM skills and experience that I've gained from my previous roles)
  2. Although I'm eligible for a promotion to 11.3 since last June, and also because transitions would always happen only as lateral movements. I will probably have to wait for a promotion in the new process for another year. Do you think it's much better to leave here and look outside for a better (significant) role, package and CL taking into account my over all experience of 7.5 years?

Take certification and training needed for your aspired role, and then when you have added those skills in resume, you can look for job outside .Accentute has lot of free trainings and we should use that.
