Trending @Accenture; Is it worth shifting from Accenture?

Hello folks!

I need a genuine suggestion here from employees about resigning at Accenture and joining TCS or Infosys.

Here no doubt I will be promoted to Senior analyst in the coming June cycle promotion.

Will it be only an increase of 25%Max to SSE level? Can I expect more?

I also have an offer letter from TCS 38% increased package on the current one at Accenture.

Ongoing HR discussion at Infosys.

Can someone suggest is it worth waiting here at Accenture for a 25% hike or should I be changing company?

Infosys is the best organisation and the work culture is so good over there, go for it

I worked there, I have 1 year of experience over there, the only regret which I am feeling is I shouldn’t have left Infosys, after joining Accenture got to know about the dark side of the Accenture organisation.

Use your offer letter of TCS to get more hikes from other companies

How can we use that? Will tcs block me if I do this ?

You can discuss in the HR round or when they discuss your salary. Tell other companies that you already have a TCS offer of so and so I want a better hike than TCS. And no TCS won't block or anything.

If the benefits, environment, atmosphere, growth rate, exposure, and all such things make a difference for you, then consider these as factors for staying back with Accenture as these aspects may or may not be better at other competitor companies.

However, based on your confidence in the current role you are in, and based on the dependency on you, you can consider talks with HR for market value correction or a better hike. Not a sure shot play, but something to try before quitting.

How can I initiate such conversation about market value correction with HR?

Only if you have substantial proof that you are underpaid given your performance, experience level, etc.

Better not to join both unless you are fed up of working in Accenture

I am not faid up but I feel I am underpaid here considering the amount of work I am doing and same work my senior is doing but with more salary credited to his account. I feel this is unfair

TCS - retirement plan Infosys - work life balance is important

If you are sure about the June promotion- then wait for it and afterwards apply for new roles outside which will hive you more CTC in hand.

And for joining Infy or TCS - both are one same level and almsot give same appraisal- so better later join one giving more hike.

What if after getting promotion from Accenture we dont get any offer from outside till 6 months😶

DancingCupcake

Ummm - I guess there is always an openings. But if hike outside is at a good pace - above 60% then it may be considering one
