I have a question regarding my Improvement Plan (IP) and maternity leave. My people lead placed me on an IP after I submitted my resignation, but I later withdrew my resignation when I found out I was pregnant. Now I’m unsure whether my maternity leave will pause the IP or if it will continue during that period. Could you please clarify how this works?

If you have raised a maternity request in the tool or informed HR and leads before getting IP, you are safe. IP will be there but, termination chances are 0.
In case you have not informed formally yet, your IP will be tough. Projects need to bear the cost of 6 months of maternity leave, which your project will try to avoid.
