Trending @Accenture; Internal switch or company switch?

Hello guys, I want to switch to a different domain than my current project is. Can anyone guide whether to switch to a different project internally or look outside? Does it happen in Accenture and how much time does it take? Has anyone changed their project internally? I have 1.5 yoe in Accenture.
