How to get out internal project as there is no desired work getting assigned and the work giving is same in loop from 1year…anyways to get out of CIO project!!!
It's very tough, almost impossible.
Only way is to perform bad so that they themselves remove you from it
One person i knew he stopped working and started taking as much leaves as possible or told the teammates that he is unable to do the work for the day .. then manager talked with him and gave the release from project
I am in cio project as a scrum master. No hike no promotion. What to do?
I will not say that management will never help, because I have seen instances where they have, but those are not many. In my opinion, you will have to do it yourself. Follow this:

Talk to your leads and people lead regarding this. Make a strong case in favor of it. You must have a genuine reason when they ask for it.

Don’t depend fully on them, as even if they are ready to help, it will take a lot of time. You will have to search for projects yourself if you want something you like. Talk to people and contacts you have, or take help from your colleagues’ contacts. Ask for help as much as you can.
I want to highlight that people who mentioned it is very hard are not wrong, it indeed is. But there are instances where it has been done, so I suggest you work hard on it.
