If you prefer technical side rather than going in management stream, there is no limit to switching.
Upskill in in demand tech stack, you will have offers. One compromise would be the position offered, CTC wise it would be taken care of if skillset is critical to the project. Just introduce yourself as Individual Contributor rather than chasing tites.

Generative AI is changing the IT world, in next 10 years based on industry trends jobs may increase or decrease, that will drive demands and hiring
