Inform your manager and ask them to initiate the release process(This is the toughest part). Once they agree on your release PMO team will create a ticket, most of the managers will ask you to serve a 3 month notice period.
Meanwhile you can search for other projects and continue with handover.

Sometimes while releasing, they might give PIP and later u will be on radar to get kicked out from job .. so think wisely before asking a release
