Trending @Accenture; I might be getting promotion from CL11 to CL10, currently my base is 7L and my manager told I'll get 20% hike promotion. Which is still very less considering new band. What to do please suggest.

Take the promotion and then start looking for the opportunity.

I have few qts regarding it - 1) Will I get new opportunity with high pay without seeing my pay slips or they will give based on my recent hike ( lets say I got 20 now and new job will also give similar% then what to do I'm really tensed)? 2)Before 3 months completion from new promotion can we give notice period? I don't want to show that I'm cheating on them but I'm really underpaid even with new career level. 3) How to pitch 100%+ hike in new job? 4) What should my ideal pay scale with 4 years is exp?

  1. Yes you can new opportunities based on your new hike.it all depends on how you convince them and how good is your technology and skill.but why are you tensed? You will be doing it while being on job and not after putting resignation. So keep looking for options till you are getting g the desired hike.
  2. You can resign the next day of getting the hike and promotion letter, and stop being emotional about cheating and all. When the company is not compensating you well, why are you even bothered. 3 and 4. Depends on your skill if it is niche. How good you fared in interview and how much the company wants to hire you. Ideal should be 30-40%.

Here CL12 people are not getting even default promotion according to some people despite completing 2 years and having such a low salary, atleast people who are getting promoted is itself good thing
