Trending @Accenture; I'm thinking of asking release from my project. Help clear my doubts.

So I got into a project after my training, where I was told there will be dev and DevOps task, but once I got into this, there's 80% to 90% support task. I'm thinking of taking release but I'm scared, I'm just a fresher with no industrial skills. And Accenture is famous for support roles, I'm scared if I get into even worse support/call support project. I tried adding DevOps and some skills in MyCompetency but my supervisor (which is same as people's lead) had not approved it yet. Dk what to do, feel stuck
