Trending @Accenture; I'm 26 with a 30k salary as a sap abap developer. Do I need to look forward of SAP consultant or go for an MBA to become a consultant

Considering the ROI of IIms, if I take baby IIms and my worse case package as 15 lpa. I already have 2 years of experience, but currently my project won't give promotion to the analyst till the next 6 months and I'm in the brownfield project.

If I stay in the same Domain, hopefully with 4 years of experience would draw 12 lakhs which is almost the same as the passout of iim

Hi @DeadHelo31 I believe this is not right way of comparing the options. Imo don't decide the path based on ROI entirely, first and foremost question is what you do like learning ? See to achieve higher salary you need to become niche in your skill or else whatever you do you will end up in moderate or below moderate package only.

Coming back to your question if you like and understand SAP quite well, and feels you want to continue working over here choose for SAP consultant, go for certification and look for some development projects.

If you don't like IT field very much and find yourself much interested in functional/managerial/leadership roles then go for MBA and switch your profession.

At the end, you need to only decide about your future.
