Trending @Accenture; I joined Accenture in March, I want to quit it, already.
Accenture has such great reputation in my eyes. But when I joined it, I was immediately put on a project. I gave 2 deliverables in my first 2 days. Then I was told by my manager that the project had really tight deadlines and I will have to micromanage the people under me. She told me that I need to keep following up with people while I do my own tasks. Every single day, I have been working for over 10-12 hours, sacrificing my schedules around fitness and family. I haven’t been able to complete any new joiner onboarding tasks and have been receiving escalations on them. She asked me to reschedule my NJX sessions because 2 days of my absence would affect the timeline. She would make remarks that she couldn’t talk about my leaves infront of our subordinates/analysts because then they would start asking for leaves too. She approved my leaves and then just a day prior said I couldn’t take them.
Last week, a family member fell extremely ill and I had to cater to them. Instead of being considerate, my manager wrote super huge emails talking about the things I did wrong, and complained to my PL. I hadn’t even had a single connect with him till now due to this very project. She didn’t even ask how the family member was doing or how I am doing after experiencing such a big sad event in my life.
My life has been hellish since I joined Accenture. Not only am I facing personal challenges in life, there is hardly or no support or understanding from my colleagues.

What's your package , skill and yoe?

I'm really sorry about what you are going through.
You should talk to your people lead about this situation and let him know about it.
Also, in case if you would really like to quit, reminder - you will have only one month notice period as you are on probation-6 months-. If you had any other offers while you joining reach out to them- they will be glad to take you in hopefully. Also, you can take it forward to HR, tell them you aren't even allowed to take NJX training - they will listen you I guess. Stay strong 🫂

I checked my offer letter and it says 3 months notice period even on probation 😔ðŸ˜

You are being underpaid at Accenture. Just as a manual senior tester with 6 years I was getting 10 fixed at Accenture. Now after leaving Accenture with total of 7.5 years I am getting 16. I don't have responsibility to manage any team just my own tasks.
Looking at your work load it's definitely very less

Sorry hear your family member is not well, hope they are good now, coming to your issue, This is wat coorporate works so just do what ever you want amd leave the office, domt keep anything in mind..
This is not your life time project ot company...

I joined 2 weeks back and I want to quit already!!!

The problem is with Accenture top tier management. I have been part of Accenture since 2015 and parted off in May 2025. From my long tenure what I understood is pre 2022 Accenture never bid for low budget projects nor would they compete for low marginal projects. Now in the last 3 years Accenture has been forced to big for low marginal projects competing with Indian IT companies because the post Covid IT boom has disappeared and the company still needs to maintain the same revenue to keep everyone happy. Also with a huge employee number than most MNCs it is really struggling to maintain its work standard. It has to reduce the employee strength and go back to its standard but that will hurt the top management income.

Wow. Experienced ppl have so much pain in Accenture 🙄😖😖

This is how things are unfortunately… Unless and untill they Reaccess people at level 7 and above…. Problems will continue to increase… I know countless of higher level people in Accenture promoting such culture bcoz they cant be touched because of there relations… and relations not because of the skills they possess… But by licking each other ***….
