Instead of panicking, Utilize the time effectively and learn something relevant to your domain. So even if they fire, you will be given 3 months of notice/Pay, so you can find a good job with your skill strength !!

Same happening with me.

I heard too many people in bench. My project manager says he is instructed not to release anyone from project even if they are not performing well, because bench is too crowded right now
