Trending @Accenture; How to get release from the project

I’ve been with Accenture for 2 years and recently missed out on my promotion despite working hard, doing 24-hour rotational shifts, and taking on significant responsibilities in my project. While my colleagues, including those on bench, received promotions, I was given 0% hike and no feedback until I asked. They mentioned that my performance was lacking and even considered putting me on PIP but chose not to. Since then, my workload has increased, and I’m feeling mentally overwhelmed, lacking motivation, and struggling to stay positive. I no longer wish to work on this project but fear asking for a release could have negative consequences. Can anyone advise on how to handle this situation? I'm in a really bad mental state and feel like crying most of the time.

I had gone through the same issue. Was asking for a release for more than 1 year. They kept manipulating eventually not giving release. I fed up and escalated the issue to HR. Then I got a release. I suggest you to write this issue to your HR. That might help.

Thank you for suggestion. Can I reach out to my senior manager?

@SmoothAnnouncement I am facing same issue and now I’m looking for job change. I am tired of feeling demotivated everyday due to verbal harassment.
