Trending @Accenture; How to get out of a Project ???Please help....

I'm a fresher and stuck in a project where no one is able to guide me.my project lead says your development is your responsibility.if anything happens, you will be answerable,he is not providing any technical help not he is ready to review my work.

Being a fresher to the corporate world,I am feeling completely hopeless .My mental health is deteriorating day by day.I have started getting panic attacks.

I cannot resign because in the current market nobody will provide a job to a fresher.

How to tackle this situation?Anyone please help...

You are tagged to this project now for 18 months. You will not be able to change neither you will get roll off. Manager or Hr will not allow since you are charged you have to fight for it. From your post, i am assuming you are not able to work on assignments given to you. There is no issue with management/ team, toxic environment. Why don't you learn or ask how to do things?

Your designation speaks for itself. No one will hold you accountable for anything that goes wrong due to knowledge gap. So utilise this time to maximise your knowledge and take risks. Once you are a few years into corporate you will be held accountable for your work but not now. So don’t let anyone give you such kind of tension now. Give you best but your seniors are accountable for not reviewing or guiding you if anything really goes wrong.

@pvtrizz Hi. Recently I went through this experience. I'm not a fresher but an employee with 6 years exp. In my opinion, you need to get two things straight. (1) It doesn't matter if you're a fresher or not, this kind of toxic work culture should not be tolerated at any cost. And THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO LEARN, please remember that. You don't have to be in a shitty project to learn. (2) Since you're a fresher, I understand that it's difficult for you to speak up and stand up to such people, but please try to find that confidence in you. YOU NEED TO SPEAK UP. GIVE THEM A FIGHT AND COME OUT OF THIS.

How to do it: Write an email to your manager to release you immediately. They'll ask to set up a call. Don't worry take the call and stay strong. If they take action in your favour, then good else write an email to the HR and explain your situation (just try not to criticise someone specific), try to be generic. P.S: Stay strong and put yourself first.

I have been through this situation where I don't want to continue in my first project but as ASE you don't have any rights or any perks for changing projects. Start by writing mail to your HR stating the problems you are facing currently. Wait for their reply if it won't come after 15-20 days send one more on top of it and resign. h HR calls as a process to check resignation, just tell them your issues and previous mails and let them know you wish to continue Accenture but the current environment is not appropriate.tell them you will take back resignation if they release you from the project. Trust me that one bold decision changed so many things in a good way. Note:- don't take back resignation till you get the mail confirmation from hr or manager for release

Bro trust me you will become a good developer from this kind of situations only… let me tell you something in IT no one gonna help you, you have multiple platforms to get help like chatgpt, google, and so on… and as a SE you must face daily challenges , tackle problems its part of your growth and solving problems without your seniors gives you confidence and trust me if you know how to use online platforms effectively you may not need seniors and don’t think like you are fresher everyone will face that situation in initial days I am on project bench for almost 2 years and got rolled off and joined another project as a experienced person now see how much pressure I gonna have but I somehow utilised platforms and now I am able to tackle problems on my own so chill don’t worry no one gonna blame for not knowing something and try to learn as much as possible, for freshers no one will keep you in PIP or something you will have space don’t worry

So sad to hear it, you can try to speak with the manager else directly with HR and get release, as mostly many people say this.
