I asked my manager for just 5-6 days of leaves for 3 months period and what she replied me was - I’ll check the work pressure and let you know.
I mean, she is not even allowing me to take 2 consecutive days of leaves 😓
I have 45 days leave balance. How shall I go forward with this, I need suggestions 🥺
I personally never ask anyone's permission for leave. I just inform my team on email about my leave before 2 to 4 weeks so they can plan their work in my absence.
It's your leave, you no need to justify the reason for availing it to anyone. No one has the right to deny time off to you.
Take leave and put as sick leave
You can directly put it on MyTE and take leaves. Else it will get expired post 31st August.
Don't ask just tell them that you will be taking leave.
Depending on your risk taking appetite, if this is happening repeatedly, raise a HR concern. This amounts to hostile work environment as Earned Leaves are your right and no one one can refuse.
Drop an email atleast 2 weeks in advance, ensure you have a back up during your leave plan and that’s it. For future avoid accumulating so many leaves and then taking last minute just because it’s expiring. You should take your leaves time to time. It will only improve your performance at work and is good for company as well.
Same here @WildDebris , my supervisor and manager says u r entitled for leaves so you should use them.
Take Emergency leave and show some fake doctor precription for safety
